Baker’s Mix Mixed Raisins is a practical dried fruit blend made for everyday baking. We currently stock either Safari Economix Light Baker’s Mix or a Baker’s Mix Currant Blend, typically consisting of standard-grade seedless raisins and sultanas, ideal for traditional fruit cakes and similar bakes.
Often referred to simply as baker’s mix, raisin and sultana mix, or fruit cake mix, it is widely used in fruit cakes, tarts, muffins, buns, and other dried-fruit based recipes. The blend is also popular in hot cross buns, granola bars, and rustic breakfast bakes where a balance of sweetness and chewy texture is desired.
As this is a natural dried fruit blend, the colour, size of the raisins, and the proportion of fruit in the mix may vary slightly from batch to batch.
