75 STD gelatine is a food grade gelatine with a bloom strength of 115 to 129, produced from bovine beef hide and manufactured to 14 mesh standard. It is SABS approved and widely used as a stabiliser thickener and texturiser in a variety of food products. When hydrated and dissolved it forms a clear gel that helps create structure improve texture and provide stability in many sweet and dairy based foods.

Gelatine is commonly used in desserts confectionery and dairy products including jellies gummy sweets marshmallows yoghurt cream cheese and margarine. In baking and dessert preparation it is used to set cheesecakes mousses panna cotta dessert fillings and gel based toppings. It is also used in reduced fat foods where it helps improve mouthfeel and add body to products that would otherwise lack the richness provided by fat.

Beyond food applications gelatine is widely used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. It is used in the production of capsules tablets and supplements as well as in skincare and cosmetic formulations where it can contribute to texture and film forming properties.

This gelatine is certified halaal in its original 25 kg packaging. Smaller repacked quantities contain the same product sourced from the original certified batch. Store in a cool dry place in a sealed container to prevent moisture absorption and maintain product quality.
