Description
Orley white baking slabs are compound white chocolate slabs designed for melting coating and decorating in baking and confectionery applications. These are our mid-range chocolate offering. They have a creamy off white colour and a sweet white chocolate flavour, and melt smoothly which makes them suitable for a wide range of dessert and bakery uses.
These slabs are commonly used in cakes brownies cookies muffins dessert sauces ganache and chocolate fillings. The chocolate can be melted for dipping coating drizzling and decorating baked goods and desserts. Because it is a compound chocolate made with vegetable fats rather than traditional cocoa butter, it melts easily and does not require tempering, making it convenient for both home bakers and professional bakeries.
White compound chocolate is also widely used for coloured chocolate decorations because of its light base colour. When colouring melted white chocolate, powdered food colours and oil based chocolate colours are the most suitable as they blend smoothly without affecting the texture. Water based liquid colours are not recommended because even small amounts of moisture can cause melted chocolate to seize and become thick or grainy.
Suitable for baking confectionery and dessert decoration including coatings moulded chocolates drizzles and decorative finishes. Store in a cool dry place away from heat moisture and strong odours to maintain quality.
